So, I was curious on how a power bank

worked and wanted to do one myself. During my research, I came upon a lot of how-to videos and instructions on how to make a simple portable charger, however, most of the instructions uses a simple 9V battery. This means that the portable charger is not rechargeable. While looking through an on-line shopping app, I came upon a special 9V battery that came with a built-in LED Indicator and charging module with a MicroUSB port. With this battery I was able to make a simple power bank that is also rechargeable.

This is the how it looked like after all the components were soldered. After making the casing for the power bank from wood, I kept all the components in place using double-sided tape. I then glued wood veneer on the outer walls of the casing to make it look neater.

FINAL OUTCOME
